1. Check if mySQL already running on your system

Before installing mySOFT Accounting System, please make sure that you already have mySQL 5 running on your system. To check if mysql already run

• Open control panel window
• Click "Administrative Tools" icon
• Click "Services" icon
• Check if "mySQL" already exist on "Name" column
• Check if mySQL status is started. If not then your mySQL is not running yet. See mySQL documentation for how to configure and run mySQL.

2. Installing mySOFT Accounting System

Before installing, please make sure you already downloaded mySOFT Accounting Package. For running myACC for the first time, please run myACC under machine where mySQL located.

• Run downloaded files. If you select "Lite Version" then downloaded .exe files must be 'myacc_le_installer.exe'
• On displayed first screen, click "Next" button
• Enter "user name" and "organization" and click "Next" button
• Use default folder and click "Next" button
• Select "Typical" and click "Next" button
• Wait untill installation is completely done
• Click "Finish" button
• On your desktop screen will shown up an icon of "mySOFT Accounting System"
• Double click this icon
• On first popup screen, enter your computer TCP/IP address where mySQL located.
  If mySQL located on local computer, then enter hostname with "localhost". If you plan to run under networking system, do not enter "localhost", instead of, enter your computer name or your computer IP.
• Click "Create New Company"
• Enter your company code and company name. Your company code will be your database name
• Select where your data will be located
• Enter your company profile
• Enter first user profile
• Select numeric and date format
• Configure backup preferences
• Enter your local currency
• Select Starting Accounting Year
• Select account list that closest to your company business
• Click "Finish" button
